The topic of discussion which was on blessings and opportunities in time of a pandemic could not have come at a better time particularly when the nation recorded its highest number of people contracting COVID-19.

With the Dean of SMMTC, Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Sobihatun Nur Abdul Salam, the President of Sportswriters Association of Malaysia, Datuk Jasni Shafie, the Advertorial Coordinator for Sinar Harian, Pn. Asmaliza Mansor and a teacher at SMK Mergong, Mr. Adi Lukman Saad as the panellists, discussion revolved around the advantages that one could seize on as the nation is placed under the Movement Control Order (MCO) such as making use of one’s time doing beneficial activities namely spending quality time with beloved ones or better still if one could seize the opportunity to further one’s studies in one of the many study programmes offered by SMMTC.

According to the Dean, fresh school leavers should consider a degree in the field of multimedia and communication as they would be highly sought after by organisations out there that capitalize on multimedia expertise once they graduate.

Not only that, The Deputy Dean urged working adults looking for means to refresh their careers to look no further as SMMTC had various types of study programmes at the postgraduate levels. The postgraduate study programmes offered atSMMTC provided working adults with more flexibility to upgrade their qualifications and empower their careers.

The session continued with testimonies by three panellists who provided viewers with insights on how the Master programme offered by SMMTC helped them to become more competent, effective and efficient at their workplace.
